About Me
I'm Yassine Hoppenbrouwer — a Full-Stack Developer and Digital Forensics Specialist with expertise in Next.js, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, combined with strong skills in cybersecurity, mobile forensics, and forensic IT.
Currently, I work at the Ministry of Justice and Security (Netherlands), where I contribute to mobile forensics research and the integration of advanced memory analysis tools into digital investigation platforms like Argus.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Legal Informatics)from Hogeschool Leiden, along with Linux LPIC-1 certificationand hands-on experience in forensic IT and development. My journey started with curiosity for how systems work under the hood and has grown into a passion for building secure, scalable, and impactful solutions.
My key experiences include developing digital investigation systems for the NFI, full-stack development with modern frameworks, and database integration. I thrive in bridging the gap between software engineering and cybersecurity to deliver solutions that meet both technical and forensic standards.
Beyond coding, I enjoy sharing knowledge, mentoring developers, and staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving tech landscape. My goal is to keep building tools that empower investigators and developers alike, making a measurable impact in both digital forensics and software engineering.
